Video Transcript: The Vermont Statewide Independent Living Council is offering an accessible emergency preparedness planner designed for people with disabilities and seniors at no charge to anyone. The planner helps these populations best cope with an emergency whether they need to evacuate or shelter-in-place. The emergency plan makes it easy for people to list and communicate their emergency needs in time of crisis and is available in digital format or by hardcopy sent directly to your home. Developed by people with disabilities and accessibility experts, it meets the needs of those who need it the mos. Filled out in advance the plan will make it easier for emergency responders to help you during a time of crisis.
